Any fabric that captures dust particles from a stream of moving air. Most filters are placed in a gasket or built into a rigid frame, allowing air to safely move through. Newer, more advanced fabric filters can catch very small contaminants, for example more than 99% of fine particulates. Fabric filters can help improve indoor air quality and reduce allergens.
