Antifungal

Antifungals are drugs used to fight fungus infections in humans and other mammals. The term should not be confused with fungicides, which are chemicals used most commonly to eradicate fungi in agriculture - i.e., farms, gardens, landscaping - and in the home. For applications inside the home, particularly to combat mildew and mold, see the fungicide definition for more information.
