Clean with warm water and mild soap. Abrasive cleansers (e.g., Comet®, Soft Scrub®, and Bon Ami®) may also work well on matte finishes.
For minor scratches and burns on matte finishes, apply abrasive cleanser and buff with a Scotch-Brite®-type scouring pad using a circular motion.
Keep harsh chemicals away, such as paint remover, turpentine, nail polish remover, stove cleaner or drain cleaner. Flush any such spill with plenty of water and wipe dry.
