Vacuum Wilsonart® floors using a suction-only brush tool. Avoid using a vacuum cleaner with a beater bar, which can mar the finish of the laminate floor. Wash with a terry-cloth or microfiber flat mop using a soap-free household cleaner or a little dish detergent in water. For spot cleaning, use household cleaner and a soft cloth.
Warm water and mild detergent will remove grease, juice and wine stains. For crayon, asphalt, shoe polish or nail polish, dampen a clean rag with mineral spirits, denatured alcohol or acetone (lanolin-free nail-polish remover) in a well-ventilated area and wipe gently. Candle wax or chewing gum should be allowed to harden and removed with a dull, blunt plastic knife or blade.
Never wax, sand or apply lacquer to laminate flooring. Some mop-on water-based polymer or acrylic finishes will add luster and protection to laminate floors (follow label directions).
