Ashtray

Always make sure all butts are cold before disposing of ashes to preclude the possibility of a wastebasket fire. Hold your hand over the ashtray for a few seconds to detect any heat.

To remove sticky tar residues from the ashtray, spray on a generous amount of all-purpose cleaner and let it soak in for several minutes. Wipe the tray clean with a cloth or towel that you intend to discard. Do not use it on any other surface.
