The article The Dos and Don’ts of Spring Cleaning gives tips on how to (and how not to) clean ceiling fans, windows, curtains, drapes, and blinds, upholstery and pillows.
Here are a few more dos and don’ts to consider:
- Don’t stress over it. Do what you can, when you can, and use whatever motivational tools (Sweet Success) you have at your disposal.
- Don’t skip it.* Do reap the invigorating benefits of having clean baseboards, walls, or whatever else you decide to clean.
- Don’t hire it all out unless you have to. Do participate if you can. There’s something mentally freeing about getting rid of dirt and clutter.
