And it's a time when many people will start spending more time indoors. Whether it is by choice or by necessity, lifestyle or climate, if you knew you were going to be stuck indoors for several months, wouldn't you want to start by make your home as enjoyable and comfortable as possible?

Plan Ahead

Prepping our indoor living environment for the upcoming cold season and holidays can be a chore all by itself! Cleaning carpet, upholstered furniture, even general house cleaning is not always easy. It may require considerable time, may be labor intensive, or require unique tools, chemicals, or know-how. The IICRC can help. They recommend locating and using a cleantrust-certified professional. Why?

Benefits of Using a Professional

  • Frees up time to spend on other responsibilities, family activities, or other things (like football watching);
  • Pride in your home — get the approval of even the most critical houseguests by having carpet and upholstered furniture exceptionally cleaned;
  • Many new materials and surfaces are being used in home décor, requiring specialized care. A professional with a broader range of knowledge can implement the right tools and techniques for the job;
  • Helps protect and ensure health of occupants. Since Autumn and Winter tend to be seasons where flu germs, colds, and other viruses thrive, using a professional house cleaning service can provide hygienic cleaning, which can include:
    • effective sanitizing of surfaces,
    • use of appropriate cleaning agents and chemicals,
    • correct procedures and techniques to prevent cross contamination.
