Trickets are useful tools in cleaning the vanes of plastic or metal vertical blinds. Somewhat similar to meat tongs, these spring-loaded devices have either small sponges or squeegees mounted on both sides. Sponge trickets are moistened in cleaning solution, closed around a vane and wiped down its length, while the squeegee tricket dries the vane. Trickets may be purchased at janitorial supply stores and some home centers.
