Advisory Board Bio

Janice M. Stewart

For over ten years Janice has been active in leading innovation and change within Castle Keepers, Inc. a family-owned residential cleaning company providing service in Charleston, SC. Through the practical application of science and technology, Castle Keepers has grown to be one of the larger residential cleaning companies in the country, providing over 20,000 home cleanings a year.

Before joining Castle Keepers, Janice practiced in hospitals and home health agencies as both a Certified Diabetes Educator and Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian. She continues to maintain her status as a Registered Dietitian.

Janice and her husband Tom have three young children. Besides her family and their activities, her interests include work/life balance, green cleaning strategies for residential cleaning, laws and regulatory trends affecting the residential cleaning industry, process improvement, human health and environmental concerns.

Janice is a founding board member of the Association of Residential Cleaning Professionals. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from James Madison University and a Master of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Rutgers University.
