HEPA Filter
A HEPA (high-efficiency particulate air) filter will capture 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns or larger (10 microns is as small as someone with good vision can see). HEPA filters were originally developed to trap radioactive dust in atomic power plants, and they have since been put to use in removing microscopic asbestos particles. Especially for those who are made miserable by allergies or sensitivity to dust, this vacuum will provide real relief. Your doctor may want you to take additional steps, but this filter is a great start.
