The 1.5 Gallon Round Stainless Steel Touchless Trashcan® TX (Model#: IT01RC) is a compact automatic, hands-free, and sensor-activated trashcan that helps prevent the spread of germs and odor. Its smaller size allows it to fit under the kitchen sink and in smaller spaces such as bathrooms, bedrooms, and kid's rooms. The touchless trashcan uses an AI Smart-Chip II™ sensor that automatically opens the trashcan lid when an object is 6 inches away or closer, and closes three seconds later unless the object is still within six inches -- as it does in the larger models. In addition, it has a brushed silver finish, a garbage bag retainer ring, "open" and "close" buttons located on the front for manual operation, and an on/off power switch located on the back of the trashcan. The 1.5 Gallon Round Stainless Steel Touchless Trashcan® TX fits plastic grocery bags and 8 gallon garbage bags, and has a removable inner plastic bucket for easy cleaning. Runs on four AA batteries for up to a year (not included). Dimensions: D 10" x W 10" x H 11" (16" with lid opened).
