The Stain-X Poly Clean wood floor cleaner is a pH balanced cleaner that claims to safely clean polyurethane coated wood floors. Additionally, to serve our customers best, we at Quality Cleaning Maid to Order expect a wood floor cleaner to remove all soils from the floor with minimal effort while leaving a residue-free shine where possible.

It should be noted that we used this product in conjunction with a microfiber mopping system. Our chosen test floor was the main entrance into the home. It was rainy season, and both humans and animals had heavily trafficked the floor.

We compared the Stain-X Poly Clean wood floor cleaner to another major brand and found that both products gave similar satisfactory results. We did not have to rinse, and there was minimal residue when we finished. One especially positive result with the Stain X brand was that if someone happened to walk over the damp floor before it was dry, the footprints were not as apparent as they were with the alternate brand.
