The BrZ2 made quick work of virtually every cleaning job I tried. The highest steam force cleaned my windows with ease. The lowest setting was gentle enough for delicate mirrors and cupboard surfaces.
The steamer heats two quarts of water quickly (about 7 minutes) and has three power levels: low, medium and high.
With a variety of attachments I found I could customize the force and the scrubbing tools for each job.
Square scrubbers called Power Pads come in textures that can gently clean chrome or take baked on spills off microwave and conventional ovens. There are also several sizes of round and square bristle brushes with varying surface scrubbing capabilities.
The first time I used the BrZ2 it took me longer to choose a cleaning tool and become comfortable using it than it did to complete the cleaning task itself. The second time I used the machine I found both my skill and my actual cleaning times had improved significantly. I had already developed “favorite” attachments for each cleaning job.
The BrZ2 brings another important plus to cleaning. The pressurized steam at a temperature of more than 290 degrees Fahrenheit kills bacteria without using any cleaning chemicals. Research studies indicate the steamer has a faster kill rate than chemicals when it comes to tough bacterial life forms. Surfaces are sanitized almost on contact.
Chemical-free cleaning is a huge advantage when it comes to creating and maintaining a comfortable environment for allergy and asthma sufferers. Also, surfaces stay cleaner longer because there is no chemical residue left behind to attract dirt.
The machine is solidly built and easy to use. With a variety of cleaning capabilities it’s a good value, but its superior performance makes it a great buy.
