When I want to clean the tub, the best way to start is to actually get into the tub. I’ve tried bending over the side of it to scrub all the corners and fixtures, but it’s slightly dangerous to balance over the side while I scrub away dirt, grime and mildew. Even in the tub, I still feel as though it is a workout of bending and stretching.
The BathWand takes less than a minute to assemble and is very easy to use. Snap the handle into the cleaning head and stick the fluffy side of the cleaning pad onto the bottom. Wet the pad to activate the cleaning solution and begin scrubbing. Continue scrubbing and rinsing as needed. When you’re finished, just toss the pad in the trash and store the BathWand.
The Clorox BathWand cleaning pads have enough Clorox cleaning solution in them that even rinsing several times left me with plenty to clean the entire bath and shower area. The cleaning head is shaped like a pie piece, allowing it to creep into the nooks and crannies of the bathtub. The extra 23 inches of the handle do allow a lot of bending and stretching to be eliminated, but those with tall showers may still need to stretch to reach the top.
Clorox BathWand is available at most grocery and drugstores. The starter kit contains the BathWand and two scrubbing pads; a refill kit contains five scrubbing pads.
