Everyone’s still talking about the terrific Superbowl Party you threw this year, but even if they weren’t the stains on your sofa and chairs would tell the whole story. Nancy Bock answers the question “How do I remove greasy potato chip stains from my upholstery?” in Ask Nancy. (She also has a tip or two for removing toothpaste stains from kids’ clothing.)

Also, cold weather is a great time for indoor crafts. By getting the kids involved, you’ll also probably be finding “sparklies” on everything from Daddy’s suit to the dog for weeks to come. The American Cleaning Institute offers some good advice for Cleaning Up After Crafts, including a neat trick on picking up “errant glitter.”
